1 cup sugar 5 tbsp water ¼ tsp salt 1 cup butter 1 cup chopped nuts 2 plain Hershey bars Combine sugar, water, salt and butter. Cook to 300 on candy thermometer. Add nuts. Pour onto well-buttered cookie sheet. Immediately place Hershey bars on top and spread over candy. Sprinkle finely-chopped nuts over top. Cool and break into pieces. |
