Swedish Breakfast Cake

From Madeline Kolste

1 cup sugar
pound butter or oleo
2 eggs
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon soda
teaspoon salt
pint sour cream

cup coconut
cup sugar
3 teaspoons cinnamon

Cream together 1 cup sugar and butter.  Add eggs one at a time.  Sift flour, soda and salt.  Add sour cream to mixture.  Mix together coconut, cinnamon, and cup sugar.  Put half the batter in prepared pan.  Then coconut mixture, then rest of batter.  Finish with the rest of the coconut.  Use knife to make curves.  Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until done.

Note:  Use a 9x13 inch pan.
